Valhalla MMA 2013


A little project I worked on with my good friend and colleague Arash Shadeh-mohammadi for a local MMA tournament here in Denmark. I was tasked with delivering the 3D and VFX elements for the player introduction graphics. The dragon badge is based on the winner belt emblem and is modelled in 3ds max, shaded and rendered with V-Ray. For the VFX elements I created 3 different levels of VFX that would be used in the different stages for the tournament. This includes the molten metal glow, fire and smoke which I created using a combination of standard maps in 3ds max and FumeFX.
